An ethnic clothing store in Central Market, Raas by Kaaj is every fashion lover’s dream. With an envy-worthy collection of daily, semi-formal, party and bridal wear (designed and curated by their in-house designer), they keep things traditional, yet chic. 

Their name’s a blend of two different lines. Kaaj is a fit-for-a-wedding line and is a work of hard labour by designer Jyoti Kapoor—her affair with fabrics and embroidery has been going on for 15 years. Raas, on the other hand, is full of pretty outfits that can be worn on a casual day out.

Be it stylish anarkali suits, gowns or saris, everything they sell has a traditional-yet-contemporary feel to it. Their extensive collection stands out for its subtle hues and intricately embellished designs (a relief from all the bling that Lajpat is usually full of).

The price range for both the lines begins at INR 4,000 (and can go up to a few lakhs) which makes it expensive, in case you're shopping for dailywear.

We also wish they had a fashion line for men.
