While searching for the best places to eat, shop and explore in Gurgoan's 32nd Avenue for our Hood Guide, we stumbled upon the one and only physical store of Ruby's Organics! If you don't already know, Ruby's Organics is an organic skincare brand that has clean plant-based formulated cosmetics that doubles up as skincare, thanks to the bio-actives and skin-loving ingredients in them.
The store is located at Galleries at 32nd, among other homegrown brands. It's a small store but so beautifully done up. They've utilised the walls wonderfully; one is handpainted by a local artist, one has long mirrors so you can see how amazing you look with (and without) their products, and our favourite one, showcases all the natural ingredients used in their products, casted in resin—almonds, jojoba, vanilla, mango, grape extracts and more!
The centre table displays their small but sufficient collection of products; the line currently consists of Smoked Kohl that's comfortable, blendable and can be used as a brow filler as well; liquid eyeshadow that has rich pigment is easy to apply and sets within seconds; mascara that's lengthening, strengthening and conditioning; lip oils, lip cremes and lipsticks for anything from a sheet tint to rich colour payoff; liquid concealer that conceals, brightens and hydrates; mattifying foundation that acts like a second skin; creme blush and highlighters that glide on your skin; compact setting powder for normal to oily skin types.
If you don't know what to get, don't fret, the store manager is super helpful and will help you find the right shade or product for your needs. All in all, we were super happy to visit the store, and if you've been meaning to try their line, we suggest you make a visit soon.
