So, we became that person, and we’re shining the spotlight on chef and food writer Ruchira Hoon, who creates amazing food content on Instagram with delicious recipes including yum baked goods and cocktails. She also hosts small seating tables with menus curated with seasonal produce.

As someone who bakes regularly, it made sense for us to know what is Ruchira's go-to bakewear brand, and obviously she relies on the best of the best. She says, 'Kitchen Aid has very nice designs that fit every oven size, they have great trays and the material used is very durable and long lasting.'

Ruchira says that she doesn't have a favourite serveware brand because she is a bit of a hoarder when it comes to servewear and buys whatever she sees. But she does have a favourite potter that she buys all the pretty plates and serving dishes we see on her Instagram.

A good sports bra can be very hard to find. Ruchira loves front open bras and she buys a lot of HRX because of how comfortable they are. She likes that the padding doesn't feel claustrophobic and also the sizing it absolutely on-point to ensure maximum comfort. She has tried everything out there, and believes that for folks with heavier busts, nobody is doing clothes better than HRX.

As someone who has to be on her feet a lot because of how much she cooks, or have intense reporting days as a writer, Ruchira recommends Onitsuka Tiger for footwear because of how lightweight they are.

She usually buys her jewellery from all her travels in the city, but we spotted some really cute pairs of earrings that were food miniatures, so we had to ask her where she got them from. Cute lays packets, pringles and kit-kats, they have them all!

Ruchira's Instagram is full of delicious and interesting cocktail recipes. She also tells us seasonal cocktails which even I've tried and must I say that they are great. But what caught our eye was the beautiful glasses she serves them in. She says Pasa Bachi glasses are absolutely beautiful and very long-lasting.

Ruchira insisted that she wants to recommend a good knife brand because she believes that is one thing lacking from most Indian kitchens. She recommends Meyer because 'they have amazing knifes that are made for Indian cooking and are very durable, plus we all should invest in good knives.'
