The weather is getting better; we don't want to jump the gun and give it an adjective, since the heat keeps coming back as a starring, unwelcome guest. But it's good, and it seems to be holding. Now is the time to be outdoors, Delhi. The Airtel Marathon is coming up, and if you're looking to get some guidance on how to train and prepare to run long distance, everyone's good fitness friend Reebok is here to help.

The Reebok Running Squad Training Program is back in the city, designed to help runners build stamina, endurance and strength. The squad is happy to help any type of runner, from beginners, to intermediate, to the 'look at my quads' professionals. Additionally, the program also focusses on educating members and aspiring participants on how to avoid injuries, and on taking necessary precautions while running long distance. We've learnt, after many many failed fitness experiments, that group exercises and the buddy system work wonders, and the Reebok Running Squad draws on that motivation. If you do sign up, you'll be part of a team of like-minded runners, all training towards similar goals, as part of organised community runs. The squad is a fitness initiative by Reebok, and even if it isn't for the marathon or an event as an end goal, they're happy to help hone your running skills, and guide your fitness training for regular, every day runs. PS: All this is free of charge, all in the name of getting Delhi active.
