What Makes It Awesome

Run by a mother-son duo, Manjula Bahadur and Vivek Bahadur, Sacred Anointing Oils (SAO) is a skincare and haircare brand doing all things natural, herbal, and hand-made. The men's range has body oils, face oil, beard oil, and face gel, with each recipe created and hand-written by Manjula over the years, and each product a testament to her excellent knowledge about herbal care techniques. Wondering why it's 'Sacred'? That's because each batch of SAO's oils is prayed and chanted upon by Manjula Bahadur and this they say is the secret ingredient. Intriguing, right?

I have been using SAO's Energising Body Oil with coconut for a while now and I truly wonder how I was going about my skincare routine without it. My dry skin problems are all but over, there's a freshness about my skin now, and the fragrance - nothing better than it. The cedarwood essential oil and lemon essential oil combine superbly with the cold-pressed organic coconut oil for a product that I would highly recommend. This one is priced at INR 775 for a 100ml bottle.

Other products in SAO's men's range include a body oil with sesame (INR 775 for 100ml), a sweet almond subtle spice face oil with frankincense and lemon essential oil (starting at INR 675 for 10ml), an aloe vera subtle spice face gel with essential oils (INR 975 for 30g), and a subtle spice beard oil with almond oil, wheat germ oil, cypress essential oil, and lemon essential oil (starting at INR 575 for 30ml). The ingredient list itself is pretty attractive and I think the face gel is gonna be my next buy from SAO.

SAO offers free shipping throughout India.

What Could Be Better

The men's range could do with some more concoctions. For the quality offered, there ought to have been a wider range.

SAO also offers customized solutions for all our skincare and haircare issues. Do reach out to them over social media or contact them directly.
