There’s 100s of places to order pizzas from but the whole regional food delivery space is a little lacking. But luckily, I got to try out some delicious food from Saffron Roots, a new delivery place, by a mom and daughter duo, that delivers all over Delhi and Gurgaon. From the typical North Indian faves (think Dal and Naan) to Gujarati to even Bengali and Marwari, while there are a lot of comforting things to order, you’ll also find a ton of new dishes to try out.
I tried out the Vada Pav and Peanut Masala Dhokla; the Vada Pav was definitely my favourite and felt like I was in Mumbai. I also got to try Marwari food for the first time and the Panchmela Dal with Churma was well balanced. I’m excited to try out their Bengali food next with the Chaat for some typical Delhi street food like Mattar-Kulcha and Palak Patta Chaat. If you’ve got a sweet tooth (I definitely do), they have a ton of Indian desserts like barfis, halwa and rasgullas.
