Saison, a Mumbai-based online brand, has caught our eye with its socially progressive, minimal, and witty slogan t-shirts that are made out of 100% bio-wash cotton.
The brand mostly has tees in black and white colors which is an aesthetic we're big fans of. There's a pride collection, Loud & Proud, that celebrates our freedom to love and has designs like 'Be Fluid', 'Free Beers For Queers', and 'Take A Bow' in pride colours. An environmentally-conscious collection done in collaboration with the superb #MahimBeachCleanUp initiative. Saison donates part of the profits from this collection for the beach clean-up fund. Isn't that just wonderful?
We also like the brand's Bombae collection which is an ode to Mumbai's famous landmarks and has tees with gorgeous graphic prints of the Asiatic Library, the Taj Hotel, and more. There are some punny and witty t-shirts for animal lovers as well with designs like '24 Carrot Magic' and 'Pugthagoras' (this one really cracked us up). A special mention for the 'Bananciaga' and 'Dolce & Banana' tees which feature, well, bananas.
