Sarita Handa's an institution when it comes to home-decor and fabrics. Though their predominant focus up until a few years ago was manufacturing & selling to some of the largest retailers all over the world, they've been able to establish themselves as one of those must-visit stores when looking for unique, well-designed, contemporary investment pieces - be it fabrics, furniture, home accessories, linen, lights and more. More than anything else, their Sultanpur store is Pinterest IRL.
I love their aesthetic! It's traditional in its craftsmanship, but really cool and chic in design. Not everything's affordable {especially the furniture!}, but Sarita Handa's my go-to when I'm looking for beautifully embroidered fabrics for cushions, or wall-art.
I recently picked up this really interesting, multi-coloured, Moroccan-inspired fabric {pictured, 1st one after the store shots} which is as exquisite as it looks in the photograph.
