Shortcut

Located in a quaint little house in Panjim, sharing space with the popular farm-to-fork restaurant Black Sheep Bistro, Sacha’s Shop offers breezy, laid-back resort wear and is very Goan in aesthetic.

Boutique Buys

The two-room boutique is stacked with clothes {arranged according to colour and not designer}, statement jewellery, sarees, bags, a couple of cute outfits for kids and other knick-knacks like key rings, clips, scarves and more. There is fun art {you can buy these} done against wooden crate bases, framed on the wall, and paintings of cheery hot air balloons. Sacha’s stocks Indian designers from all over the country plus some interesting ones from Goa. The whole aesthetic is relaxed, Goan, resort wear. So no bodycon dresses or boob tubes here.

Designs On You

Start your browsing with all whites from labels such as 11.11 and Goan brand Mogachea {by stylist  and costume designer Tania Fadte}. Anti-fit dresses, billowy shirts, cute crop tops are the order of the day here. Move on to checks, greys and blacks by Savio Jon, Eka, stop at delicate ghamcha fabric shirts, maxi dresses from Naushad Ali, and admire the fine linen sarees by Anavila and cotton ones from Paromita Banerjee.

Sasha’s collection of baubles range from the tribal {which she sources from upcoming designers} to more established Indian brands such as Dhora {delicate, fine jewellery}, Manifest Design {statement upcycled baubles} and Kichu {with her edgy creations inspiration by the animal kingdom}. Don’t forget to admire Savio Jon’s fantastic necklaces made out of hardware odds and ends. We spotted some cute dresses for kids, skincare from Pahadi Local {their apricot oils are the bomb}, and ceramic mugs from Pondicherry. Plus, some rather beautiful bead embellished vintage clutches.

So, We're Thinking...

It’s designer so it’s gotta be expensive, but you will also find really one-of-a-kind pieces here which are not very steeply priced such as the jewellery. Once you are done with shopping at Sasha’s, don’t forget to hop over to Black Sheep Bistro next door to try their fantastic cocktails and local-meets-fusion cuisine.
