I’m all for handmade, small batch skincare products made locally - they’re sustainable, better for the environment and SO much better for your skin. Scentiment’s a one-woman army based out of Gurgaon where Ritu Nayar does it all from creating the products to packaging them and shipping them off. Knowing all the extra care and effort that went into every single product, be it a candle or a lip balm, made me appreciate everything I ordered even more.
I tried out the Vanilla Lip Balm and French Pink Clay Mask; the lip balm was super hydrating and the face mask made my skin look SO much fresher and brighter. The Body Scrub I tried was awesome for exfoliating but it also had a good amount of oil in it so it didn’t dry my skin out. They also have a ton of other products like a body mist, deo creams, whipped soap scrub, soaps and body mousse. For men, they have a few products like an after shave gel and balm and a beard oil.
I also loved the Soy Candle that I got, especially the one with coffee in it. The smell wasn’t overwhelming but it was a subtle scent that I like a lot more than excessively sweet ones. I really liked the sustainable packaging, too, everything was either in tins or glass jars and nothing came to me in a plastic bottle.
