A restored haveli spanning three floors, full of linen, furnishings, clothes, jewellery and furniture, Serendipity in Chattapur already had our heart. More recently, they’ve opened a charming cafe on their rooftop and it’s nothing short of gorgeous.

Is It A Store? Is It A Cafe?
Single-handedly curated by Kuldeep Kaur, this travel-inspired, textile store has also opened a rooftop cafe. The wooden window frames in teal, paired with the soft white curtains adorning the large glass windows are tasteful and totally Instagram-worthy.
From their brunch menu, the potato salad was aptly potato-y and tasted refreshing. Soaked in a mix of red wine, olive oil, cream, mayonnaise and dressed with garlic, onion and parsley, it was definitely our favourite.
If you go there and can’t decide what to eat, we reckon it would make for a lovely brunch dish or an a great supper option too.
Hog on the Roast Fish With Chilli Sauce, the home baked bread, the Vegetable Grata with Broccoli and Mushrooms, and the risotto while immersing yourself in the cafe’s plush ambience. Also, enjoy the feeling of being far away from Delhi.
So, We're Saying...
Serendipity, is a place that completely annihilates the idea that “ it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey.” Bookmark it for a Sunday brunch plan- it’s a little hard to get there so a day when the streets are relatively empty would be ideal.
After you’re done eating, do check out their range of art, furniture, home & decor, clothes and lifestyle products. We wanted to buy almost everything we saw!
