The new-in-town, boat-themed ahaata on the Gurgaon Faridabad expressway is making waves! So, we decided to check it out the only way we imagine sailors would – with rum bottles in each hand.
We Set Sail For Gurgaon's New Boat-Themed BYOB Restaurant & Here's What We Loved
Shortcut
All Aboard
With ample indoor and outdoor seating, this place is a good bet for the working man. With wooden furniture and a big projector continuously blaring a sports channel, the ambience is laidback yet very comfortable and somewhere caught between two worlds of loud and sober. They have a small rooftop which mimics the deck of a ship. With neon and fancy laser lights, it makes a nice spot to glug down a lager at night.
What's Cooking?
The menu is quite identical to other drinking spots around Gurgaon, serving everything with a typical twist of masala. The Chicken Malai Tikka and the Amritsari Fish Fry went really well with our drinks.
We’d also recommend the Tandoori Momos; they’re absolutely delicious and offset a pint of beer wonderfully.
So, We're Saying...
Make a pitstop on the expressway, take a breath {or a beer} and step into this place for a good time and really good food.
