According to designers Rahul Ganju and Sakhil Girdhar, "Seven is an amalgamation of the classic menswear with a strong futuristic outlook" and one look at their detailed kurtas and shirts is enough to drive home this point. Expect loads of colour-blocked styles, placket detailing, micro prints, unique silhouettes – all minimal and very pleasing to the eye.
Seven's shirts come in both half-sleeve and full-sleeve styles with little details of colour thrown around largely solid-hued clothing. The collars, cuffs, hems are all in play and the use of cotton sateen gives the shirts a dressy yet casual vibe. The Neon Sky shirt in light blue with a neon green strip and the Le-Sky Ombre Linen shirt are the two pieces we are gravitating towards. Prices for Seven's shirts start at INR 2,450.
On the kurtas section on Seven's e-store, we found the same minimal design philosophy with a focus on playing around with traditional kurta silhouettes. There are pleated drape kurtas, asymmetric ones, achkan kurtas, and of course your basic silhouettes with detailed panels and subtle prints. The use of cotton-silk again adds that subtle sheen to the garment making it a worthy outfit for festive occasions. The Sharp Lilac Kurta is what we're eyeing (that colour looks gorgeous) for.
Prices for Seven's kurtas start at INR 4,850.
