3 Outfits We're Recreating From Sex & The City Reboot's First Look!

Inarguably the biggest fashion icon in the series, Carrie Bradshaw's style is fun, flirty and, well, expensive. She made tutus look cool, turned Mr. Big's walk-of-shame shirt into a shirt dress outfit and even in the reboot, she's the first one you look at. 

A piece you may already have in your closet but can never have too many of, SJP's outfit features a basic white t-shirt that's easy to layer or wear on its own.

Carrie's tucked her white tee into our favourite length for skirts at the moment (midi, of course) and while this one is missing the corset-esque detailing at the waist, it's also missing the $200 price tag and it comes with a matching face mask. 

Remember that white shirt from Mr. Big's closet that Carrie styled with a belt and still made it work? We suspect that same shirt made a comeback for this outfit but in an updated way we've been seeing white shirts being layered with tops and dresses. 

Where would Carrie be without her shoe addiction, other than $40,000 richer? Mary Janes are typically worn by, well, young girls but the (high) high heels and triple buckle make it look older and more modern. Fun fact, the Celine ones SJP is wearing cost $970! The ones we recommend have a more wearable heel and affordable price tag.

Is it just us or did Miranda always get the worst storylines? Played by Cynthia Nixon, Miranda was fierce, cynical but also extremely caring (and also the only one who displayed any common sense, sorry not sorry.) Her style was lowkey, and we're loving the androgynous direction they're taking in the reboot for her wardrobe. 

Skinny jeans are out and Miranda agrees. She's paired her blouse with white pants and we can't recommend these enough (unless you're super clumsy) because these go with everything. They're also super flattering thanks to it being high waisted.

Miranda's heels are Manolos, white and classy. Yours can be Charles & Keith, white and classy. We have good experience with shoes from Charles & Keith being comfy and easy to walk in, and they last a really long time. Plus, we consider white shoes an investment. 

You've probably already seen the green version of this bag all over Instagram (it's an influencer favourite) but we love the white one just as much. While Miranda carries her as a clutch, we like the option this Zara bag offers us of being able to wear it on our shoulder, too.

Traditional, polite and conservative, we love Charlotte's optimism and we relate hard to her hopeless romantic personality. Her style is feminine, chic and timeless, definitely the poster child for Chanel. 

If there's one person on the show who probably owns a pencil skirt in every colour, it has to be art gallery going Charlotte. A black one is a good option for people like us, though, since it goes with literally everything.
