What Is It?

An astro-photography workshop where experts will help you explore the magical sights of the skies above, and discover the varied splendours of the night that otherwise get missed by the naked eye.

Who Is It For?

This unique two-day workshop is ideal for aspiring photographers who will be exposed to a distinct style of capturing images. It should also be a fun and engaging experience for astronomy lovers, who will get a chance to, not just pick up a new skill, but also admire and gaze longingly at dim stars, planets, galaxies, and the larger cosmos.

Why Should I Go For It?

Getting to revel in the beauty of the night sky, and that too in a scenic location {this workshop is happening in Rajasthan}, is just what you need as a break from the maddening crowd. The chance to see and capture heavenly bodies that are normally missed by us is an added bonus.

The participation fees per person is INR 10,250 without transport, and INR 11,750 with transport from Gurgaon, which includes the training, meals, optional treks and staying in a tent on a twin sharing basis.

Anything Else?

Participants will be free to use the gear provided by the workshop mentors, but if you do choose to get your own equipment, make sure you pack your DSLR, spare battery, memory cards, your laptop, a tripod, a small torch and something called the ‘intervalometer’ {google that!}.

A working knowledge of handling a DSLR in manual mode would be great, as would oodles of patience as you sit waiting for that perfectly starry night.
