A few weeks ago, Instagram bombarded me with ads of Haands Free, an accessory brand, only that they're introducing a whole new range of accessories (that you might not know you need, but you do). Basically, they do utility phone straps. The strap has a small round zipped pouch and a button closure pouch which attaches to the phone case that comes with the set. The phone case has a card wallet that can carry up to four cards at once.

My initial thoughts upon seeing this were confusion, but I was determined to try it. I got the beige utility crossbody priced at INR 8,900. To shop, you can easily surf according to your phone model, right now, they offer strap sets for iPhone 11 to iPhone 14 Pro Max and Samsung Note, Ultra and Flip. In case you're not able to find your phone option, no worries, they do have the option for you to go with a generic pouch as well. Also, we're happy to note that all of the leather used is vegan.

Coming to my experience, I'd be lying if I said this strap didn’t make my life more convenient. I've used it for close to about a month, I've travelled with it, and I've run errands in it too. The pouch carries Airpods and petty cash, the pouch carries my sunscreen stick, and the phone cover carries all the cards I need. It's the easiest thing to pick up and just head out. Not to forget that every time I've worn it, I've received compliments or been asked where I got it from—so it does the job of an accessory well. Till now, there have been no signs of wear and tear. However, there was a minor issue with the hardware of the small pouch, which the brand was happy to change as it's a rare occurrence.

LBB Tip: Since the strap is detachable, I attached it to some of my neutral-toned bags, and it elevated the entire look.

Price: INR 5,900 for strap sets
