What Makes It Awesome

Subtle colours, inventive silhouettes, and high-quality materials are all the reasons we're crushing hard over Antar-Agni's menswear collection of kurtas and jackets.

Defined as 'post-new age x naturalist', the label was started by designer Ujjawal Dubey in 2014 with the philosophy of combining two extremes – structure and flow. This design philosophy is evident in its asymmetrical, double-layered, and cross-layered styles which celebrate the natural flow of the fabric and yet have a structure that looks good on the body.

Antar-Agni uses natural materials like cotton, silk, linen blend, and cotton silk for its kurtas and has colours like rust, mustard, off-white, green, royal blue, mouse grey, and more currently on display on its e-store. Our favourites out of these would be the rust Saint Kurta (INR 21,800) that is inspired by 'sadhu'  robes and the White Kurta (INR 15,500) which is extremely versatile.

The jacket's collection is a mix of long jackets, bandhgalas, waistcoats, and straight jackets. The pieces we're itching to own out of this are the Cross-Layer Bandhgala Jacket in ivory (INR 36,400) and the Multi Lapel White Jacket in cotton lycra zari (INR 39,200).

We would also recommend checking out the bottom wear section that features draped dhotis, embroidered trousers, low-crotch salwars, and more styles that would look excellent with your kurtas and jackets.

Pro-Tip

Most of the garments that you see on Antar-Agni's online store can be made in other colours as well.
