It all started with one blog post started by Kriti which curated stories about textiles, decor and success stories about entrepreneurs. And she knew the next thing she had to do. Start her very own venture which mirrored her passion for textiles block prints. Called Kari By Kriti, the brand saw a small start in 2014 with just two adorable hand block printed quilts, which soon gained popularity.
And fast forward to today, this brand has expanded its collection vastly to include cushion covers, bags, pouches, table linen and baby bedding products. I particularly fell in love with their pastel hues cushion covers. They've got cute florals and block prints coupled with fine embroidery. Perfect to add a Pinteresty vibe in your room. And their quilts. OMG! I'd just say curl up with your favourite book and some coffee.
The unique part about their collection is that every product strikes a perfect balance between traditional Indian prints and contemporary touch. So, think block prints on pastels. Amazing, isn't it? And she works closely with a local NGO in Hyderabad which trains employs economically challenged women.
The starting price for their collection is INR 200 and goes up to INR 6,000.
Psst: we hear their Shibori curtains, block print quilts and pillows sell like hotcakes.
