H&M’s conscious collection this spring is made from 100% recycled, organic or other more sustainable materials. How cool is that? Some of which you (and we) might not have heard before! So, let’s give you the deets.
They’re using innovative fabric technologies like the Agraloop™ Biofibre™. These fabrics transform food crop waste — in this case, oilseed hemp waste — into a natural fibre, Agraloop™ Biofibre™! If you think that’s interesting, wait till you hear about Fashionable flax. Their organic linen is grown without chemical pesticides or fertilisers and contains no genetically modified organisms (GMOs). H&M goes a step further to create material from wood pulp too. Tencel™Lyocell might sound a bit rough, but the material is actually super soft and absorbs moisture really well.
That’s not all, if you love your denims, you can check out their denim collection which is made by removing the dyeing process in denim manufacturing. This means saving water, getting rid of chemicals and using 100% organic cotton. Ready to try on flax seeds, wood pulp or food crop waste? Check out H&M’s spring collection today, and do your little bit for the environment.
