With a hoard of beauty brands and products popping up every now and then, it's easy to get confused about which ones to add to your collection. Luckily for us, actor Alia Bhatt just dropped her much anticipated skincare routine on her YouTube channel, and we couldn't be more excited. The actor is known to be super serious and passionate about her skincare, and it clearly shows! Despite the frequent, which in her case means almost every day, use of makeup and product, her skin always looks young, radiant and absolutely stunning. Here are the seven products she swears by!

It's easy to slip into the thought process that the more 'squeaky clean' your face feels the more cleansed it is.  However, that is not at all true. You need to pick a cleanser according to your skin type, however, a gentle cleanser will never do you wrong. Like Alia, we'd also vouch for the Cetaphil gentle cleanser. It moisturises and cleanses while also maintaining the skin's pH balance—perfect for all skin types and especially if you have sensitive skin.

Byoma Balancing Face Mist

Alia uses the Byoma face mist as a toner and as the second step to her skincare routine. Now, even though we've heard all good things about the Byoma Balancing Face Mist, which is a multi-tasking, on-the-go skincare treatment that mimics your natural barrier function, with an ultra-fine mist that can be used anytime to tone and refresh the skin without any residue. However, unfortunately, it's not available in India. So we'd suggest the Laneige skin refiner as an alternative!

Alternative: LANEIGE Essential Balancing Skin Refiner Light

Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid

Hailey Bieber took the world by storm with her revolutionary skincare brand—Rhode. Alia swears by the glazing fluid, which is packed with peptides, known to plump, illuminate and hydrate the skin. Now, since it is not available in India yet, we'd suggest using The Ordinary's multi-peptide serum instead to get the best of peptides into your skincare.

Alternative: The Ordinary Multi Peptide + HA Serum

d'you In My Defence Barrier Building Moisturiser

We're big fans of d'you because of their science-backed formulae and multi-purpose products. Alia uses the barrier building moisturiser, which is known for its calming formula, being lightweight, super hydrating and being packed with ceramides! It is known to fix the skin's barrier, as well as defends the skin against water loss, irritation and inflammation. Though on the pricier side, we'd still recommend this in a heart beat, just like Alia.

As the final step to her skincare routine, Alia, too, insists on the importance of sunscreen while using the ISDIN Fotoprotector Fusion Water Sunscreen that is non-greasy, leaves no white cast, can be used near the eyes and acts as a great base for makeup! It is also non- comedogenic, suitable for all skin types and dermatologically tested.

Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment

After her skincare routine, Alia also uses the Rhode peptide lip treatment, which is packed with peptides, restores and  replenishes dry lips, and helps lock-in moisture for visibly plumper, softer lips. Since Rhode is not available in India right now, we'd suggest using the Laneige balm that comes with a similar formula and works wonders.

Alternative: LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm

Not a step, but a treatment to help fix the odd acne that tends to pop up here and there for most of us  (that is if we don't have acute acne problems). Alia swears by the Cosrx pimple patches, which are also pretty Instagram famous and do what they claim.
