Working with indigenous textiles to translate into clothing that is contemporary and functional, Silai Studio is an online-only apparel brand for women that does kurtas, dresses, sets, top, tunics, pants, and also face masks.
All of the garments made by Silai are hand-crafted and not just that but as you take a glimpse, it'll also be pretty clear as to how they have experimented with silhouettes, techniques, textures, and colours. We really like their range of dresses that are made out of hand-dyed cotton fabric and mostly hand-embroidered with intricate detailing that will surely make you fall in love. We even love what they have to offer when it comes to full-sets; some of them are even going to work well for festive season (psst, our brothers already get the hint for Raksha Bandhan).
In particular, we love this beige set that comes with a slip, chanderi kurta (has hand-embroidered flower detailing using thread, beads, and sequins), palazzos, and an organza dupatta. Although, the pieces might just come across as a bit expensive but considering that all of them are hand-crafted and in superior quality, we certainly do not mind spending a bit extra.
