The Burlap People, one of our favourite eco-friendly brands for stunning bags is back with their #SoundsLikeBurlap event. At this event, they put the spotlight on upcoming music artists, bring Earth-friendly brands together, host super fun workshops, and create a dialogue around sustainability.
For this edition at the Greenr Cafe in Gurgaon, there'll be a free kombucha brewing and tasting workshop by Khukrain's Kombucha, you'll get to learn about ceramics and textiles at Sienna Store's session, and The Burlap People will themselves host an art workshop where you can customise Burlap bags. Carmesi (a brand that makes eco-friendly sanitary pads), and Mason & Co. (vegan chocolate makers from Auroville) are some other brands that will be conducting informative and fun sessions at the event.
The evening will end with a #SoundsLikeBurlap x #SiennaSesions gig that will see artists Samar Mehdi and Amartya Ghosh perform. While Samar is known for his alternative rock/modern rock music that's combined with Urdu/Hindi lyrics, Amartya Ghosh is a singer-songwriter whose music is a blend of indie and folk with melancholic undertones.From live music to kombucha tasting, clearly there's a lot happening at this event.
