South African Guitarist Collaborates With Indian Tabla Artist In This Performance

Guy Buttery is a South African musician known for his ingenious guitar work. Buttery collaborates with homegrown tabla artist Amjad Khan to present an hour long set peppered with some solo acts. Inspired by the traditions of South Africa, Buttery's music blends the mbira, gospel singing & Zulu folk music. The melding of South African harmonies with Indian percussion makes for an ambient, meditative & organic evening of intermingling cultures.
