This Sunday, the New Delhi Nature Society takes you on a tour through the beautiful Delhi ridge spread across a big part of north Delhi. It's an extension of the Aravalli hill range, and consists of forested areas and small hillocks all around.
Who Is It For?Peeps currently in town who love greenery and nature and are up for an excursion. The ridge also has a wide variety of flora and fauna to spot; you can run into animals you might not generally find in the city.
Why Should I Go For It?It’s truly a tranquil experience to visit unexplored green spaces around the city and get away from the hustle bustle fora change.
Anything Else?New Delhi Nature Society and Dilli Meri Jaan, the organisers, usually do explorative stuff around the city, especially with nature and heritage. The excursion will go on for about three hours, the meeting point being gate number 4 of the Vishwavidyalaya metro station.
Don’t forget to carry a bottle of water, cap {for the sun} and camera.
