Keeping all things quirky, retro and old-wordly, Go Spiff’s brings Delhiwallas curated, vintage-inspired eyewear.

Old school love

Mansi and Pritish—the duo behind Go Spiff—are travel junkies, and during visits around India, they stumbled across really interesting eyewear at quaint stores. As their travels continued, they started sourcing old-school-esque eyewear, and selling these to friends and strangers through their Facebook page.

We found out about Go Spiff through friends who oooh-ed and aah-ed about their Lennon/Depp-inspired frames. Going through their page is like rummaging through your grandparents drawers, in the best way—you’ll find oversized Sharmila Tagore-esque sunglasses, semi cat-eye glasses you’d spot a on ‘Mad Men’ character, and chunky-frame glasses that your nani probably still wears.

The deets

What’s awesome is the price point- eyewear from the 40’s to the 80’s are a steal—seriously, 1,800 bucks for a pair of tortoise glasses. Bargain aside, their collection changes very often, which has its pros and cons. Cons because you don’t get something you like on demand, and you’ll have to drop them an email to get a look at what they have available. The accessories are also worth a look-see if you like the quirk factor.

Quality check? Mansi and Pritish ensure what you get is sturdy, scratch free and handcrafted.

What we love

With their Fall/Winter collection out, we are loving their Double Trouble—Chunky frames that are covered by colourful lenses. The Ice Pops are pretty and colourful {the green is beauts!}. We also recommend the Steamfunks in their patina exteriors and cool hues.
