I finally made my way to Sidecar- a much talked about, and a much-hyped spot in GK2's bustling M block market. This two floored bar cum restaurant is beautiful! It has a super cool, old school vibe- everything from the music, to the bar, the leather couches and the cane back bar-stools, I love the decor and set up. It's kinda reminiscent of PCO.
The drinks are next level incredible! Sidecar's run by Meenakshi and Yangdup, the duo behind Gurgaon's beloved Cocktails & Dreams Speakeasy- so good drinks are guaranteed. Their drinks menu is extensive; a mix of classics like my margarita (pictured), and new cocktails. Their margarita is possibly the best I've had in Delhi, the only other one that comes close is PDA's.
My friends and I weren't too hungry so we stuck with the prosciutto toast and steamed chicken rice balls- both super light and fresh.
All in all, I'd highly recommend Sidecar for its excellent drinks, incredible service and retro-cool vibe. It's a much more formal setting than its sister bar in Gurgaon, but that's not a bad thing.
In between my friends and I, we had about 8 drinks and 2 starters (FriYAY), and the total bill was about INR 5,500. Super reasonable by Delhi and GK2 standards!
