Stranger & Sons, in collaboration with The Bombay Canteen, did everyone in Mumbai a massive favour with their spanking new distilled cocktail - Perry Road Peru, exactly this time last. But for Round Two, the cocktail is retailing in Bangalore! It's a ready-to-drink cocktail, and we want that! Yes, really, a cocktail which you can easily refrigerate and have over six months. Although, given the love we have for anything alcohol, and more so by the fine folks of The Bombay Canteen and Stranger & Sons, it'll probably be six days.
The cocktail is a mix of gin (naturally) and pink guavas (pink perus), and is best had on the rocks. Or if you prefer, pour it in a tall glass with a salt-chilli rim and top it up with tonic. As with all cocktails, feel free to jazz it up. We certainly plan to! If you're wondering about the name, then you really need to go check out Perry Road, in Bandra, the next time you hit up Bombay (OK, OK Mumbai). Especially when the streets are lined with those selling ripe, pink perus!
