I love a good candle! And the ones by Mineral Project are ace. New Delhi is hands down my favourite one. These are all soy wax candles, last for a while, and the scent is just the right amount of strong, which is why they get my vote.
# 2 Simrasa’s Hair Gloss
Simrasa’s hair gloss is fantastic! If you’ve heard of Gisou (very popular US-based hair care brand), Simrasa’s basically the Indian counterpart of this brand. It works like a serum, but you need to use just 2 drops of the oil. Bonus? It smells fantastic!
# 3 Cinnamon Kitchen India’s Almond Flourless Cookies
Cinnamon Kitchen India’s Almond Flourless Cookies are divine and my go-to for a 4pm sugar high. They’re gluten free, organic, refined sugar free and vegan. Even if you have no shits to give when it comes to all things healthy, I can bet-cha you’ll like these.

Bobbi Brown’s Stick Foundation was recommended by ace beauty content writer, Vasudha Rai. I’ve been using their stick foundation in Natural for 4-5 years now, and swear by it! I have insanely sensitive skin; and this stick doubles as a concealer as well. Highly recommend!

Yep, I jumped on the Birkenstock bandwagon! I love that this brand’s made a big comeback. I recently bought their 2-tone double strap sandals and I wear them everywhere. They’re slightly pricey, but worth the splurge.

FAE Beauty’s Mascara and Brow Gel is the closest I’ve come to finding an alternative to Glossier’s Boy Brow. I’ve been a regular shopper of this product for 2 years; I have naturally thin eyebrows that fall out of shape no matter what I do, and this product works perfectly.
# 7 Uniqlo T-shirts
Uniqlo’s T-shirts are a staple in my (very lean) wardrobe. Black, blue, grey, I’ve got one in each, and there’s always some or other great deal on these. What I like about them the most is they last through multiple washes and irons and don’t lose their form.
# 8 Subko’s Ratnagiri Estate Medium Roast
I love a good cold brew! And Subko’s Ratnagiri Estate Medium Roast is my go-to for my morning, afternoon and evening cuppa joe. I like that it isn’t too acidic with a mild flavour, and works well if, like me, you add a dash of soy milk to your coffee. Also, if you haven’t, you must visit Subko’s Roastery and Cafe the next time you’re in Mumbai.
# 9 Juicy Chemistry Deodorant
Let’s be honest, unless you live in Bangalore, 9/12 months of the year is spent sweating. And my go-to deodorant is this lavender and ylang ylang deo by Juicy Chemistry. It doesn’t leave any residue, doesn’t have a strong smell at all, and most importantly keeps me sweat and awkward sweat patch free all season long.
