Suneet Varma Launches His First Western Couture Collection

The information in this post might be outdated

After having given us dreamy lehengas, sarees, and anarkalis to lust after, Delhi-born designer Suneet Varma is out with his first ever western couture collection.

The collection consists of 35 gowns that have drawn inspiration from Hollywood glamour and Studio 54, the popular New York nightclub of the late 70s. The colours range from princess-like ivories, light pinks, and icy blues, to bold shades like cobalt blue and bright red. The materials? Chiffon, silk organza, silk taffeta, and knit, plus crystal meshes that are studded with lots of Swarovski crystals {31,640 to be exact}.

These crystal meshes are available in about 15 different effects and 36 colours. Great for adding quite some bling to a fancy night out in town, we think.
