The largest crafts fair in the world, Surajkund International Crafts Mela, is on from Feb 1 to Feb 16. In its 34th edition this year, it’s celebrating Himachal Pradesh as the theme state, and has got Uzbekistan on board as the partner nation. They’re also getting 1,000 craftspersons and weavers from participating states.
So, those into handlooms, handmade decor, apparel, handicrafts, pottery, accessories and more should definitely plan a trip. The multi-cuisine food court here will also be a great place to sample regional delicacies, desserts, and full-fledged thalis so the foodie of your gang will have a lot to look forward to as well.
Apart from this, we're super excited for the cultural performances too. Expect Rajasthani folk dance medleys, qawwalis, dance performances by artists from Uzbekistan, poetry recitals, and even fashion shows at the mela.
