What Makes It Awesome

Ramgargh’s Suvaasa - The Resort in Nainital is a 1.5-acre property amidst the fruit rich valley and the mighty Kumaon Himalayas. With stone and wood exteriors, an old-school fireplace, a library, and balconies overlooking the hills, this resort is the mountain abode of our dreams.

Surrounded by the hills and nature, Suvaasa The Resort is perfect for those who’ve had too much of the city. Imagine waking up without an alarm, to a comfy bed, to sunlight filtering in from massive glass windows, to a view of misty hills as far as the eyes can see, and having this place as your home, for a while at least. Yearn for mornings like these? Book a room at Suvaasa The Resort in Ramgarh.

The Resort has three types of rooms – the Executive room, the Superior room, and the Suite, all of which are spacious, come with a TV, free Wi-Fi, huge balconies and the rooms have a lot of natural light coming in.

A typical day at this mountain home could begin with a hearty breakfast at their rooftop Italian Tamino Cafe (we hear they do a stellar thin-crust pizza you could try for lunch) that also offers bakery goods (think homemade jams, breads, and more). If you prefer Indian, then Suvaasa’s Spice & Curry restaurant could be a better option.

Afternoons here can be spent lounging at the balcony, clicking wallpaper-like pictures from the rooftop, going on nature walks, and getting lost in the hills (really, when was the last time this happened?). For the easily bored, trekking, mountain biking, paragliding, a day trip to Mukhteshwar, visits to local attractions like Kainchi Dham or Rabindra Top would be a delight. The staff can also arrange for picnics with tea and snacks; we couldn’t think of a better way to enjoy some time with the fam. Unless, bonfires at night, games of monopoly and dumb charades, and family gossip in the comfy lounge here is what you’d prefer.

Lazy bones can check out Suvaasa’s library and this resort also has a cosy fireplace that could probably be your spot for nightly relaxation.
