Bharatiya Sangeet Sadan and Sri Ram Center For Performing Arts is presenting Swami Haridas Tansen Sangeet Nritya Mahotsav. This four-day long music festival will witness live performances by maestros such as Uma Sharma showcasing her fabulous Kathak routines, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia playing the harmonic flute and more.
However, the one that our eyes and ears are really waiting for is the renowned Anoushka Shankar on the sitar. In case you missed her last time, here's your chance!
Not only is this a call to all music lovers and enthusiasts out there, but also a way to keep our musical heritage alive and to encourage the younger generation to enjoy and adapt to traditional arts.
