What started off as a pop-up restaurant is here to stay with beachy vibes, a revamped space and a whole new menu from the Ploof kitchen: Presenting TabulaBeach Cafe 2.0

What to Expect

Well, apart from the fact that we’re thrilled we get to retain one of our favourite hang out spots, there’s a whole new space to get excited about. They’ve re-done the interiors and added a stage so you can expect live music and the occasional DJ, every day of the week. The beachy vibe stays though, so don’t fret! It’ll be perfect after a long day’s work, we think.

The Lowdown on Food

The exemplary chefs at Ploof are the ones behind the food, and boy are they bringing it. Expect world cuisine, from curries and Italian to Middle-Eastern fare. We hear Prawnography {whole tiger prawns cooked thermidor style on a bed of al dente fettuccine aglio e olio} is one of their most winning dishes!

The thin crust pizzas and their fully-loaded burgers are also strong points. We’d recommend the Tabula Beach Cheese Burger {smoked scarmozza, aged cheddar, caramelised onions, grilled tenderloin patty, pickles and gherkins, burnt garlic mayo} for a full kick of flavour.

Your Biggest Concern- Cocktails

They’ve brought on a few mixologists to throw together a whole range of enticing cocktails. With offerings such as Paan Ki Dukan {fresh paan leaf, gulkand, vodka, sambuca, cardamom} and Vodka Chiku Eclair {fresh chiku, vodka, baileys, eclairs infusion}, you’re bound to be exposed to a combo of promising flavours. Plus, Vodka Golgappas to boot. Spicy.
