What's Happening

Hobbmob Studio is hosting another arty meet-up at Hookapaani Baithak on Sunday (Sept 2) for everyone who’s interested in block-printing. The experts will take everyone through the easy-breezy techniques, and you’ll get to play with wooden blocks of different shapes and sizes (hello, paisleys and leaves).

Through the course of this afternoon (11–1pm), you’ll figure how you can go beyond just whimsically patting those blocks onto fabrics and creating borders, and also learn to overlap and see how you can combine multi-coloured prints.

How's The Venue

Hobbmob’s many workshops travel across cafes and studios. This time around, it’s at one of the undiscovered, grungy bars that host live gigs. This afternoon, though, won’t be about that at all but a bunch of arts-and-crafts loving folks coming together and enjoying a lazy Sunday painting, chilling, learning and bonding. Oh, and you’ll arm yourself with a new skill as well.

Price Includes

You can take anything you want to paint on (a tee, a napkin, dupatta, cushion cover or anything at all) and the wooden blocks and paints will be on the house. This 2-hour workshop will cost INR 1,300 per person.

Make A Note

It’s open to everyone, and you don’t need prior experience (or insane artistic flair) to be a part of this.
