Talli Butter Chicken, Damdaar Chicken Tikka
What We Loved
We’ve all eaten our share of chicken tikkas and butter chicken till now, one better than the other, with each restaurant sticking to its own variation and recipe to give us something unique. Talli Chicken banks on that very uniqueness of its recipes {which have been created by the brother – sister founders along with their long-time, trusted chef} to give the residents of Dwarka something a little different.
From the starters section, we were pretty darn impressed by the Damdaar Chicken Tikka, which was mildly spiced and packed with flavour. The Chicken Chatkara consisted of tender bits of chicken that were super juicy and tender. Of the gravy dishes, the Talli Butter Chicken won, hands down. We found ourselves going for second and third helpings, even in this horrible heat.
What Didn’t Impress Us
The Highway Chicken Curry had a lighter base, but was a little too tomato-ey for our taste buds. The keema in Teekhu Chicken {chicken keema in mirchi pakora} had little to no flavour at all, which had us mistaking it for regular mirchi pakodas, and nothing to write home about.
Anything Else?
While with that name, the intent at serving non-vegetarians is pretty clear, the folks at Talli Chicken are soon starting a vegetarian menu too.
