All Rolled Into One

171116_tawak1The chef-run Tawak has over 300 dishes on its menu! Whether you’re looking for the typical ghar ka khana or a royal feast, chances are Tawak will deliver.

They have an entire trove of kebabs; we love the Gandheri, which comes on a sugarcane stick you can suck on. If you’re vegetarian, you will find yourselves in a rare place where the menu is half yours {we’re not kidding}: Dig into the spicy Chakundar Shami, Nadru Kebab, Crispy Water Chestnuts and the comforting Paneer Kesari.

For those who want to take the oriental route, there’s plenty of dim sums {we’re partial to the ones with the Thai lemongrass infusions}, fried fare {Wasabi Panko Prawns} and water chestnut fried rice.

Cold Is Gold

Tawak does not have a liquor license {and doesn’t plan on getting one} so the focus is on food and smoothies. The Cucumber Afterwork is a refreshing quencher after all the mirch and tawak {cinnamon} you’ve consumed. You could also opt for one of their flavoured lassis {Strawberry Mint tops our list}.

What really won our hearts over is their home-made ice cream. Available in Strawberry Basil, Apple Pie and Masala Chai, these are super creamy, bursting with deliciousness and add the perfect finishing touch to a masala-laden meal.
