If you’ve been a Noidawala-in-the-know, you’ve probably heard of Tawak in Sector 62. Good news: They’ve launched a new delivery/takeaway service called They-si to put all dal makhani, chilli paneer and schezwan momo cravings to rest.

Macch Ado About This

With a menu so exhaustive and almost every second dish cooked to brilliance, this can be a nightmare for the indecisive. If you ask us, we loved the Indian stuff a lot more. Order the mutton galouti and chicken tandoori momo for starters if you’re a carnivore. And the Amritsari Macchi cannot be missed. Vegetarians can try the novel Crispy Waterchesnut… the perfectly fried, crunchier cousin of the honey chilli potato.

The Paneer Khatta Pyaz had a rich, tomatoe-y gravy that we delighted dunking our butter naan in and the usual dal makhani was memorable too.

To round off, we were craving a very homemade brownie and their version didn’t disappoint. If you’re more Indian in your tastes, we’ll point you to the Badam Phirni.

A big, hearty meal later, we’re ready with the verdict: The delivery wing lives up to Tawak’s reputation for quality multi-cuisine {this side of the river at the very least}.

So, We’re Saying…

Have guests coming over? Or want an indulgent meal without leaving your bed? Be on the lookout for They-si’s Chinjabi {the veggies in chilli garlic basil sauce is actually pretty hot} and good ol’ greasy comfort foods – laccha parantha and dal makhani.
