What Is It?

Siri Fort is definitely the hotspot for cinema lovers and this time, they’re bringing the culture of Thailand to the big screen, starting 31 August till 02 September. The Royal Thai Embassy has joined hands with the Directorate of Film Festival, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of India, for the Namaste Thailand Film Festival 2018. This second edition of the film festival boasts of a selection of six Thai films across genres. So you can choose your favourite genre and plan that fun solo outing or just an afternoon with a bestie over some iconic movies.

The movies being screened include Bad Genius, 4Bia, Malila: The Farewell Flower, Brother of The Year, Yak: The Giant King and Pee Mak.

If watching cinema over anything else is your idea of fun a weekend, pay a visit to this Film Festival for fascinating insights into the Thai landscape. This is unlike any other 3-hour long playback screening and is sure to leave you with plenty of conversations.

Entry to the film screening is free and registrations will be done on the spot. So reach the venue at least 30 minutes in advance to book your spot and be sure to make this weekend a memorable one.
