The Bar Cat is finally here and it’s a pretty huge two-floored space with a rooftop and another floor downstairs where the magic {read: Live music performances, plays, stand-up comedy} happens as you sit and sip on some stellar cocktails. And yes, everything from the music to the cocktails to the food to the decor is a throwback to the 20s era.

What's On The Menu?

We tried some of the dishes Bar Cat is most proud of and we can safely say, you’re going to go back home full and happy after a meal here.

We started with the juicy pork skewers {eat these fast before the meat goes tough – Instagram can wait!}, the grilled asparagus topped with a generous amount of Hollandaise sauce {we enjoyed this in spite of being hardcore carnivores} and a portion of devilled eggs {the yolk mixed with the chicken and prawn is a great way to start any meal}.

For mains, there’s a whole world of delish waiting for you. We gorged on the Buffalo Pie, the prawn with walnut sauce and the Bangers and Mash. Everything was cooked to perfection and served as comfort food, really.

They have some killer cocktails on the menu {give their French 75 a try} or sip on their mocktails: pumpkin pineapple mocktail {just trust us on this one} or their coffee tonic concoction.

What Else?

There’s a dedicated performance area on the main floor, which will see not just jazz bands but theatrical performances, poetry slams and more. The terrace is currently WIP but whatever’s happening on the lower floor will be projected there so that no one’s missing out on anything. Plus, it has a pretty great view.

So, We're Saying...

Bar Cat fills a void in Delhi’s nightlife. We can’t wait to hear jazz bands perform live in full swing whilst sipping on well-blended cocktails. The interiors are nothing short of a movie – dreamy AF. You’re going to feel transported the minute you push open the door and walk in.
