Visit The Cafe In Vasant Kunj For Carrot Cake, Colouring & Comfort Food

Vasant Kunj’s newest neighbourhood cafe is giving us #GoodVibesOnly with their cosy little space. They have a menu comprising comfort food like pizza, pasta, wraps and freshly-baked desserts.

Their menu comprises regular cafe fare; sandwiches, pastas and wraps, along with infusions like the Bombay Sandwich and the Vada Pav, both of which are popular choices among regulars.

We, however, decided to sample something off their small grills section. The fish in lemon butter sauce was soft as a cloud, and the buttery sauce only made us want more. The side of sauteed vegetables provided a much-needed crunch to the dish.

Their pasta is great for when you’re looking for a pick-me-up. Don’t go expecting authentic Italian sauces, but more of a home-made comfort.

You can just step in to The Cafe with your laptop and spend the day here with a cup of honey ginger tea and a slice of carrot cake; do not leave without taking a few bites of this. It’s wholewheat with two generous layers of cream cheese frosting, and it tastes divine.

And in case you’re here just killing some time, don’t hesitate to pick up the box of crayons on your table and start colouring the paper table mats. We know this is meant for the kiddies in the group, but no one’s judging.

PS: The cold coffee was a little underwhelming; we’d go for a freaky shake instead.
