With more than five famous lakes, Udaipur is a paradise for people with a thirst for comfort, good food, scenery and rich culture. In my opinion, Udaipur should be on every Indian's list of 'places to visit before you die'.
Royalty is in the air in Udaipur, especially at the extravagant City Palace that is located in the heart of the town; or you can visit HH the Queen's own favourite Saheliyon-ki-bari, with multiple, beautiful fountains.
The City Palace is the biggest tourist attraction, and though it's usually extremely crowded it shouldn't be missed. You can spot the famous Oberoi Udaivilas at a distance.
With a lot of spots to explore, Udaipur is a peaceful place to enjoy your holidays.
