The Devil Wears Prada 2 Winter Looks To Recreate
Semi-Formal Fit With Beige Overcoat
Meryl Streep's fashion sense in the original movie was iconic, giving it a full-on 'main character' feel. And if the glimpses of the sequel's looks are anything to go by, she's nailing the styling bit this time too. For instance, this super-elegant and effortless semi-formal fit is perfect for channelling boss girl energy and being ready for a get-together in the evening. The fit has a 'quiet but assured power look.' The muted colours, clean lines and structured tailoring give the fit an even sharper and more authoritative energy.

Formal Outfit With Beige Long Coat
Another Meryl Streep look that screams calm and elegant, but also "It's either my way or the highway." The handbag adds more strength to the look while the red heels give it a subtle power. The navy pants and white shirt are classic wardrobe staples. Meanwhile, the beige overcoat is the highlight of the outfit, so we've found one that matches it the best. However, it's a little on the pricier end.

Causal Chic With Leopard Print Boots
Leopard print this, leopard print that. It's safe to say the print has made a huge comeback this year, and this Anne Hathaway look with leopard print boots is proof. The look is simple, chic, and super easy to recreate. What we love most about the look is how it includes wardrobe essentials (blue jeans, scarf, brown blazer) and accentuates them with the boots and the bag. Whether you're running errands or grabbing coffee with friends, this look is perfect.

Confident Business Woman Pant Suit
Pant suits are the power dressing you need if you're trying to make it big in your career/ professional life. This Anne Hathaway look should be your anchor for channelling your inner ambitious corporate girlie. With pinstripes back in fashion (yayy!), you can easily recreate this look with minimal effort. The pearl jewellery adds a feminine touch to the entire look, while the rings add more elegance.

Merly Streep Skirt & Coat Formal Business Suit
After pant suits, skirt suits are the next most raved about fashion trend right now. With Meryl Streep adorning one in TDWP 2, it's hard not to own one, regardless of whether your work or business requires you to wear it. We love how her look is monochromatic yet super bold and powerful (at this point, I think it's her looks that are powerful). It has a hint of corporate royalty and instantly makes you come across as authoritative. We couldn't find a skirt suit in the same colour, or even similar to it, so we went on to be creative and DIY-ed this outfit with the same energy. Meanwhile, Anne Hathaway has colour-blocked her semi-monochromatic look with a blue pin-stripes blazer that's equally authoritative.

Date Ready Winter Fit
Okay, maybe not date-ready, but you could easily wear this fit to a date, put it on with literally no effort, and yet look super chic. The midi skirt with a checkered sheer top is classic Y2K. However, it's the footwear that steals the show. Studded black block heels elevate the look from a basic fit to "wow, she knows how to dress."

Striped Pant Suit With Corset
The movie is the fashion-show equivalent of corporate dressing and power, and while we're on that subject, we couldn't just ignore this Emily Blunt outfit that takes co-ords and makes them formal with minimal effort. For the 100th time, I want to highlight the pinstripes. The real star of the outfit, however, is the corset detailing on the top. It's bougie, confident, structured and elegant.

Funeral coded chic black dress
Black is and will always be a powerful colour, and this outfit has only helped us prove this point. It's so simple and yet so elegant that you're forced to think how fashion is more about styling than just "wearing." Plus, it's all black, from head to toe, so naturally, we have a bias towards it. The plate detailing on the dress stands out as the 'highlight' feature in this otherwise monochromatic dress. It's basic yet "not-so-basic."
