Must Eat
An expansive menu is always a tricky start for anyone, and it is hard not to get intrigued by sushi on a food truck menu. We tried a sample of the ABC {asparagus, bell pepper and cheese) Roll and the Salmon Avocado Roll and were suitably impressed. Neatly rolled, perfectly presented and with all the bells and whistles {pickled ginger, wasabi, soy and chopsticks}, this one was immediately noted down for fancy home dinners.
Indulgent comfort food seems to be the secret weapon here. Both the lasagnas and the cheese burst pizza were gooey, delish and loaded with fresh veggies. What stole the show from them though, was an absolutely smashing Butter Chicken Wrap: Hearty, messy, explosive and loaded with juicy chunks of meat.
We ended our bingeing with a recommended Nutella waffle with ice cream, and it truly was sweet surprise. The freshly made crisp waffle played along well with a chocolate hazelnut layer and melting vanilla ice cream.
Must Drink
The iced tea gets our guzzling vote; it is freshly made, has mint leaves happily swirling in it, and is just right to beat the sultry evenings.
What We Loved
Brisk, attentive service, and a very helpful host gets extra brownie points. Special shoutout for neat packaging, making it easy to consume on the go.
What Didn't Impress Us
The menu is large and elaborate, so it would help if there were some chef specials/recommendations. Also, we saw the potential of combos with a wrap, sides and a drink thrown in. #JustSaying.
Anything Else?
This food truck delivers too, so dial in and get your dose of grub without having to step out. This is an evening-only {6pm- 11:30pm} operation, and Tuesday is when the truck takes a little snooze break.
