In it's 15th year ITIHAAS brings to you THE ITIHAAS FESTIVAL.
ITIHAAS is a trust that pioneers Heritage Education and Heritage Management in India . Established in 2004 it is based out of Delhi.The Trust works with over 800 schools across the country, impacting Heritage Education and existing school curricula,while reaching out and impacting the lives of over 3,00,000 school children,their families and their educators in the process. This is done by connecting the paradigms of heritage with education,heritage with management and heritage with education.
Five years into ITIHAAS and ANVESHAN was born out of an idea that RESEARCH CAN ALSO BE SUNG. ANVESHAN is an original music competition ,where children are given a new topic each year ,to research, write a song, give music to it and perform it in front of a panel of judges. This idea received immense encouragement from children and the schools . Here we stand 10 years later having impacted over 8,000 children and 800 schools across India each year.The numbers have grown each year and we started getting requests for PARENT PARTICIPATION as an audience. Several requests of wanting to hear not only their own, but children at large led to us creating the ITIHAAS FESTIVAL for everyone. From the confines of an auditorium, we planned to bring it to the lawns of INDIRA GANDHI NATIONAL CENTRE FOR ARTS AND CULTURE.

PROGRAMME SCHEDULE :
ANVESHAN FINALS start in the morning from 10 am and go on till 3 pm
SCHOOL BANDS start playing as from 3:30 pm uptil 6 pm
POPULAR ARTIST performances start at 6:30 and go on until 9 pm
