Taka’s musical roots were planted at a young age, starting with classical piano and then moving onto Western and Hindustani classical vocals. After a break for many years, life and its rich experiences wove into Taka a sense of context and inspiration that brought her back to music a couple of years ago, this time with a more mobile instrument, the guitar. ‘Taka Tales’ is a conceptual premiering of her original music in an intimate and emotional story-sharing session.
