What Makes It Awesome

The Pink Potli is a super cute, and unique brand that crafts pretty potlis, batwas and clutches that will compliment any ethnic attire excellently. What we love is that this brand is trying to revive the trend of carrying fabric potlis as handbags to weddings.

It was started by a mother-daughter duo, where Deepa (the mother) handles the crafting and making of the bags, while her daughter Pranati Mansukhani takes care of the marketing aspect. What we find endearing is that each and every bag is hand-embroidered so elegantly that you notice them instantly. Mostly they retail in potlis. Every piece is zardozi-embroidered, embellished superbly with sequins and beads, and that too on fine silk and brocade fabrics.

Similarly, they've got wonderful clutches following a similiar design pattern, too. Their products are priced between INR 3,000 to INR 7,000.

What Could Be Better

We couldn't spot any batwas on their site and wish they offered a few options.

Two Things; 1.) I like to think I live life with rose coloured glasses on, but really they’re black, and I can’t see a thing. (And to be honest, that helps in unseeing the humongous sattire and mess the world is). 2.) Mostly fumbling and staggering through life as gracefully as I can, with an occasional glass of wine here and there.
