    What Makes It Awesome

The idea of sustainability has become a way to think and lead life consciously with, rather than a trend. So, if you happen to be someone who aims to live a sustainable life (and realistically), then you'll love The Pitara Project.

This brand retails beautiful, handcrafted wooden plates, spoons, forks, marble coasters, bowls, minimal glass boxes, wooden pen stands, and wooden trays. The Pitara Project also aims to encourage the creation and consumption of Indian handicrafts.

We personally love their wooden plates and trays. These are painted very beautifully, are colourful and mostly made out of mango wood. We also love their nacho plates which have conjoint bowl slots in the middle for salsa/dips, and glass boxes that can be used to store anything from accessories to makeup. Their prices start INR 900 for jewellery holders and smaller accessories, while hand-painted plates and bowls can go up to INR 1700.

    What Could Be Better

Although, you can buy their products from Propshop and World Art Community, we also wish they had an offline store we could buy their products from.
