We've spent many, many hours walking around M-Block Market in GK 1 with nothing to do in particular except kill a little time and do a bit of street shopping. On our last such trip, we ended up not just looking at the same old stores (y'know, where the clips waale bhaiya sits or the uncle with the 5 million white kurtas) we went into a basement and it isn't as foreboding as it sounds.
The Wardrobe is a slightly high fashion-esque store compared to the stalls we typically head to in GK 1 but it's a welcome addition nonetheless. They stock a ton of tops, dresses and pants which have a more fancy look to them, not great for everyday wear but if you've got a special occasion coming up, fancy brunch or birthday, you'll be in luck.
Gorgeous corset tops, flirty florals and, maybe too many options to browse through, you're likely to find something you'd wanna wear. Since it's unlike the stalls, so is the pricing here. Outside, on a lucky day, you could score a top for INR 100 but here, tops start at around INR 1,200 and dresses start at INR 3,000, depending on the intricacy or detailing.
