India Gate really is the heart of Delhi, but it doesn’t come across as the most happening place in town, and that’s why many of us don’t visit it as often. But contrary to popular belief, if you go exploring, you’ll find that there’s a lot of things you can do when you’re in the area.
Here Are 5 Things You Didn't Know You Could Do Near India Gate

The tour slots start at 5am and goes on till 9pm, and the guides start with a tutorial to make sure you’re ready to operate these rides of the future. Right across India Gate is the National Gallery of Modern Art, where you can go to check out some of the most beautiful paintings. Also visit their souvenir shop where you’ll find original works of reputed artists that have been printed on mugs, coasters, passport holders, travel bag tags, wallets or simple posters that can go up in your living room. With their unlimited thali priced at just INR 120, there’s no way you’re walking out of here hungry. We say you go for their Hyderabadi biryani which is served only on Sundays at lunch time.
Kafe@Musuem
Located inside the National Museum, this is the place to go to for a good cup of coffee after a long walk at India Gate. Pair their coffee with something from their menu {samosa, vada pav and a bunch of your favorite Indian snacks} for the canteen food feels. Everything here is served at super-affordable prices, which gives you more of a reason to visit it.
Bikaner House
It may have started as a bus terminal, but Bikaner House (which is just two minutes away) has really come up to be a hub for arts and culture as cool events are hosted here on a regular basis. We're talking events like fashion pop-ups, jazz gigs, art exhibitions, book launches and more. You can keep a track of them on their Facebook page.
