India Gate really is the heart of Delhi, but it doesn’t come across as the most happening place in town, and that’s why many of us don’t visit it as often. But contrary to popular belief, if you go exploring, you’ll find that there’s a lot of things you can do when you’re in the area.

Segway Tour

You’ve probably already been on a Dilli darshan and visited India Gate, but have you done it early in the morning on a Segway?Delhi City Segway Tour offers a tour of India Gate on a segway! The tour slots start at 5am and goes on till 9pm, and the guides start with a tutorial to make sure you’re ready to operate these rides of the future. With 45-minute packages starting at just INR 2,500, this is the new way to rediscover India Gate. You can book here.

National Gallery of Modern Art

Right across India Gate is the National Gallery of Modern Art, where you can go to check out some of the most beautiful paintings. Also visit their souvenir shop where you’ll find original works of reputed artists that have been printed on mugs, coasters, passport holders, travel bag tags, wallets or simple posters that can go up in your living room. The gallery is closed on Mondays and entry will set you back by INR 20.
