Bhai Dooj: Make The Most Of The Day With Your Sibling In Delhi
Wake and Brunch At Fig
Since it's Bhai Dooj, and involves siblings, we're aware of the fact that you'll will probably wake up late. But as soon as you do, head out for brunch immediately. We suggest going to the best brunch spot in town—Fig at Malcha. Everything is top-notch about this place, from the vibe to their yum coffees to their food.
Go For A Movie Date
Going to the movies has finally made a comeback, and if you and your sibling have bonded over movies, then this is probably the best idea! It's low maintenance, doesn't involve too much talking (so for once, you might not pick a fight) and still remains to be extremely fun and engaging. We suggest booking your tickets in time since everything is always sold out these days.
Grab Coffee And Snacks At Devans
If the both of you share a love for coffee then you must head to Devans located in Lodhi Colony. They were established in 1962 and have been roasters for three generations! So, I’m sure they know a thing or two about coffee. They also sell coffee, so after you’re done sipping, you can even take some to brew at home!
Go Climbing
If you’re looking for something more adventurous then try your hand at Indoor rock climbing. There are various spots in Delhi like Boulder Box and Climb Central. It’s super fun, challenging and rewarding experience. You’ll be able to spend quality time with your sibling here, and probably get to beat them at yet another sport.
Shop At A Mall
Gifts and shopping go hand-in-hand on Rakshabandhan. Plus, malls are a dopamine factory, and yes, we feel like Rebecca Bloom when we step into a store! Delhi has some of the best malls. Head to DLF Promenade in Vasant Kunj, Ambience Mall in Gurgaon or DLF Mall Of India in Noida to spoil your sibling with some things that they actually want!
Book Shopping At Khan
Who doesn't like book shopping? And if your sibling hasn't got you a gift yet, then head to Khan market immediately. We suggest Khan because it's a great spot to stroll around, shop, and then grab food later. If both of you'll are book lovers, then go to Bahrisons, Full Circle, or Fakir Chand and buy books for each other.
Dinner At Big Chill
After the hectic book shopping, a dinner filled with cheese, butter, and garlic is a must, and what better than Big Chill? Head to the Khan Market outlet itself and gobble up some fine baked pasta, pizza, and of course their stellar shakes.
